Easter Baskets for the Homeless
Last week a group of Sisters Serving Sisters got together to assemble Easter baskets for our local homeless children of the shelter. Assembled with love, each basket included a soft stuffed toy, candy, a book, pencils, stickers, and small toys. Early Easter Sunday morning, we'll be delivering the baskets to a group of homeless children who are living at the shelter. We also have a special treat to give all the moms!
That's not all....we'll be cooking up an Easter breakfast for them too!
It will be our joy to serve them and see the children's faces light up with excitement as they each receive their own basket.
