Matt 28:5-8
But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen , as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you."
So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.
Saturday morning, the day before Easter Sunday, SSS served breakfast to our friends at the Homeless Overflow. Fruit, Eggs, Bacon and Pancakes we on the menu! After breakfast we passed out gifts of candied filled eggs for the children, gift bags for the women and gift bags for the men.
When all that was finished, the Sisters held their Saturday morning bible study. The topic of the study was "The God Who Helps", which spoke to each one of us.We thank our Savior for allowing us to be used by Him in blessing the homeless and encouraging the homeless believers who attend our study. Please pray for them.
